To bring young people and the private and public sector together to improve relationships which emphasizes education, recreation and character-building; with a goal to assure young people of positive and meaningful participation in building a better community, recognizing they are our future and contributing citizens.
It is recommended that a scholarship advisory council be formed to work together within the mission statement. The purpose is to honor each community scholarship program guidelines, purpose and mission, with outcomes of unifying our efforts to maximize financial resources and positive and successful outcomes, assuring that “no young person is denied” a higher education opportunity.
There is a growing spirit of financial support by individuals and organizations to provide educational scholarship and vocational opportunities. The Advisory Council is suggested to communicate a unified effort to serve our community and young people’s best interest.
